We’re FoodCycle Bloomsbury, a friendly bunch of volunteers who cook a three-course meal every Sunday at 1pm for our guests - usually around 15-20 of them. Every week we rustle up these healthy and delicious lunches using surplus food donations collected from our local suppliers. Our relaxed style ensures everyone has fun while we tackle three huge social problems – food waste, food poverty and social isolation.
The kitchen is located at Somers Town Community Centre, a stone’s throw from London’s King’s Cross station. If you’d like to help out with our food collections, prep, cooking or serving then please sign up to one (or more!) of our upcoming cooking sessions on the calendar below. And remember, you don’t have to be a master in the kitchen to come along!
If you have any questions, please get in touch at Bloomsbury@foodcycle.org.uk or via our Facebook page - FoodCycle Bloomsbury. Hope to see you soon.
