We’re the Bristol FoodCycle Hub!
Every Saturday we serve delicious meals to those who attend Barton Hill Settlement in Bristol. We also work in partnership with other local organisations and welcome an eclectic mix of wonderful people into our extended dining room. Every week we collect surplus produce locally from local retailers and use these ingredients to prepare nutritious meals to be served to the community. With this, we want to tackle food poverty, food waste, social isolation and build communities.
Beyond organising our weekly community meal, we also run our very own fundraising Pop-Up Restaurant to make our Hub financially sustainable, and provide a platform for education, music, and sharing in the Bristol community.
At the beginning of 2016 we launched FoodCycle Connects, a bicycle distribution project, to get edible surplus food to charities and good causes across Bristol.
Check out the Calendar below to sign up for our weekly Saturday sessions at the community kitchen, our week day food distributions and keep an eye out for our pop-up events which we run every month or two.
